Who We Are
The National Career Pathways Network (NCPN) is dedicated to strengthening the education-to-careers pipeline through professional development in Career Pathways, Adult Career Pathways, career and technical education (CTE). NCPN supports the endeavors of secondary, postsecondary, and adult educators; practitioners in workforce and economic development and correctional education; and community-based organizations. NCPN strives to strengthen the role of employers in career education.
Founded in 1991 (originally as the National Tech Prep Network), NCPN assists educators, counselors, and administrators in planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving Career Pathways programs across the country. Through conferences, workshops, and publications, NCPN facilitates the exchange of promising practices and innovations.
A project of CORD, the Center for Occupational Research and Development, NCPN connects people and resources, provides leadership and professional development, and helps educators and employers discover solutions through partnering at local, state and national levels.
Three Decades Strong
At the 2022 annual conference in Atlanta, NCPN celebrated thirty years of service to educators, students, employers, and workers across the country and beyond.
